MEDIA REPORT CARD
Since Obama took office the media has been grading him. They remind us daily that the first 100 days of the Presidency is critical to performance. As we now approach that mark we are hearing it daily. Some, so called major networks, are even grading him as though they were issuing a report card. Of course they call in the experts to analyze every aspect. Where do they find these people. No sooner than they ask a question to the expert they interrupt with: “But don’t you think…..”.
If we were to grade the media on their performance I’m afraid they would fail miserably. From promoting a racist like Jamie Foxx to having Dog The Bounty Hunter on Larry King to a nasty looking, acting so called Chef on the Food Network the media is worsening. As I write the media is pumping day 97 with two consultant experts giving their views on the performance of President Obama. Ah they have hit upon his promise of providing the children with a dog. Nothing like beating the same drum over and over.
My grade for the media is a failing one. Once again I call upon news organizations to simply report the news. Leave editorializing out, we don’t care what your expert panels say. Simply report news. As for the Food Network get someone who looks as though they have bathed, combed their hair and put a chef’s hat on them if in fact they are one. I don’t want in your face nastiness while eating nor watching television.
