PHOTO SENSITIVE
This matter has been addressed by everyone - except perhaps the Pope. He would probably simply chuckle. I’m sure most Europeans realize we Americans do many stupid things. Imagine the US Government calling upon private citizens and industry as well as business leaders to cut corners and tighten their belts while they continue to spend foolishly. This is yet another example of the outlandish moronic lunacy that has taken over our government. No not just since our current President took office. This stuff has been around a long time. Especially in the military. Overall, to me, the military is a first class welfare society set up for all the misfits of the country. When war breaks out they can send them to be killed. Of course now and then some intelligent ones get in and do some pretty damn good stuff like win wars.
This blunder though was not winning a war. Is it possible that no one in a position of decision making could have better handled this matter and avoided it altogether. Surely there are computers and individuals with the knowledge to use them. Now I am not a computer geek nor accomplished even with its’ handling other than email and blogging. However, even I know they could have accomplished the same photo op without putting a single plane in the air. The entire image(s) could have been put on computer and superimposed to create the final product. No one would have been the wiser. Instead we had to send up a 747, two fighter planes and probably two photo planes at least to get the real thing. Well just how damn many of my tax dollars did you blow on this one Uncle Sam?
